JEF GENERAL FUND GRANTS

ABOUT

JEF General Fund Grants provide funding for Jewish and non-Jewish organizations that significantly benefit the Jewish community. Our Grants Committee is responsive to requests that help:

  • Launch new initiatives
  • Expand successful existing programs
  • Address an emerging critical need

Thanks to our generous donors – some of who established funds to continue supporting their passions after their lifetimes – we also have limited funding that may be used to help in the following specific areas:

  • Jewish youth leadership programs
  • Jewish seniors’ needs
  • Women’s education and development
  • Music and theater projects

HOW TO APPLY

If your organization is a 501(c)(3) in the state of Louisiana and would like to apply for a JEF General Fund Grant for a program that aligns with JEF’s mission and purpose, you may download the application here and submit to Sierra Sager at [email protected].

DEADLINES

Applications are reviewed twice a year:

  • Spring Grant Cycle – Applications must be submitted before March 1
  • Fall Grant Cycle – Applications must be submitted before September 1

 * Please keep in mind that each grant cycle may take up to two months to process, so recipients will not receive notification and funding until early May or early November.
